Saturday Afternoon Squeezes
Level: Experienced Tournament Players
April 1 & April 15, 2017
2 PM to 5 PM
Instructor: Debbie Rosenberg
Location: Bridge Center
Cost: $70. Half price youth discount for age 25 and under.
This workshop is intended for experienced tournament players, generally of at least Life Master level (though LM status is not required). The first session will introduce various common squeeze techniques, and reinforce them through the play of practice deals. The second session will consist primarily of more practice deals, on which various advanced bidding concepts will also be explored.
Obscure squeezes, of the type usually executed only in books, won’t be covered. The goal is to help you successfully execute the types of squeezes experts routinely get right at the table, rather than trying to solve esoteric problems which even world class players struggle with.
Lecture notes, and copies of all deals played in class, with analysis will be provided via email.
While it is ideal to attend this course with a partner, it is not required.
Class size will be limited to 14 tables. Pre-registration is required. You will need to send payment to hold your place after registering.
Coffee and light snacks will be provided.
The workshop instructor is Debbie Rosenberg who is an ACBL Grand Master, six-time NABC winner and three-time World Champion with 30 years of teaching experience.
The workshop will be held at our Bridge Center.
